This is the point that MMTers are totally right about. They miss the bigger point that a state-commanded economy is an instrument for utter tyranny and poverty but they are right about the fundamental fiat mechanism: you can print as much as you want so long as you tax the plebs in equal measure to create demand for the fiat paper. They describe the control/shake-down scheme very accurately.
It’s a slightly “red” state run by bush 43 types. Only a few states left with voter bases who have low tolerance for lefty bullshit. Jeff Younger’s story lifted the veil on that place for me.
A completely non-negotiable Christian doctrine. Looking at church history, most heresies were some kind of an attack on the Trinity.
I’m not a Roman Catholic but the commenter is referring to the Eucharist which Christ Himself establishes as normative for salvation. And Paul clearly affirms that the Eucharist (as it was in the first instance in the upper room) is a communal meal shared within the Church. This isn’t to say that salvation is impossible by another means (what is impossible with God?). But Jesus was so clear about this that it scandalized some disciples. He specifies not just belief, but to eat of His Body and Blood to gain eternal life.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” The Jews therefore quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?” Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.” These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum. Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a hard saying; who can understand it?””
John 6:47-60 NKJV
“I speak as to wise men; judge for yourselves what I say. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread.”
I Corinthians 10:15-17
So Christians (including the apostles who learned directly from Christ and were commissioned by Him) were getting their teachings on salvation wrong for over 1k years before the reformation came along?
⚡️🇺🇸 NEW - Tucker Carlson says a member of Congress told him that President Trump will be announcing tonight that "a war is coming" during his address.
Judge Napolitano: "Is Trump going to start a war in Venezuela?"
Carlson: "I don't know the answer ... here's what I know so far, which is that members of Congress were briefed yesterday that a war is coming and it'll be announced in the address to the nation tonight at 9 o'clock by the president..."

Well this turned out to not be true.
2 by a lot. I also like the idea of satoshi’s coin as a developer bounty for quantum computing.
“Clarity” is probably bad news for freedom and privacy.
“Do I not hate them, O Lord, who hate You? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You?”
Psalms 139:21
And you have established that you don’t have a meaningful definition for “hate” or why “preaching hate” is even bad. Your sentimental, nebulous argument is silly.
What’s wrong with hate? There are things we should hate like evil and sin.
If God loves His Creatures and His redemption of His creatures is only contingent on His election/disspensation of saving grace to them, why would we not see universal salvation?
If He requires no synergy between His will and with the will of the regenerated, how could He not save all those who He loves? Conversely, how could He be severe in justice against creatures who, being totally depraved from their conception, had no meaningful participation in their hatred towards Him?
This is the central reason I am not an occasionalist/calvinist. My firm belief in God’s love AND His just righteousness preclude it. People have a meaningful choice in responding to God’s gracious call to repentance. And He will rightly judge based on how people respond to His call in their hearts. May God have mercy on us, the sinners that we are.
Does God love mankind or does He love The Elect?
No major Christian sects posit equality of Mary with any person of the Trinity. Mary had the same human nature as every other human but was honored, and assented, to bear God the Word in His incarnation. That is why she is rightly called blessed and respected. It is right to treat Christ’s mother with the same respect that He did. It’s bad faith to call any of this “worship” as some protestants do because it’s explicitly not what the churches in question believe.
That’s freaking cool. Makes me wanna start a blackmail op.
Why don’t you keep your religious beliefs to yourself? Whether or not you recognize them as religious beliefs, you got em and you are expressing them above. Also, Christ is King. 😘
