I was able to fly in the simulator today at work! It was at the end of testing some new flight check procedures. Crashed twice from the others flying it. But hey, any landing you walk away from is a good landing!

Dovetail joint on a 10 FOOT barn beam console, I originally bought this gantry crane to help flip and load slabs, but it’s working great for what started as a 16’ long 11”x11” barn beam. Based on the growth rings and the time this barn beam was originally used, the tree this beam came from was a sapling around the early 1800s!

Stub Drill Bits

Stub drill bits are something I found when I was going to engineering school, after twenty years or so of contracting and woodworking. They would be some of my first drill bit purchases if starting out again. They can be a little more expensive, however, they are usually very good quality and cut really well.
