I got X premium a few months ago when it went on sale and I started using it for a while. I got sucked into a few arguments on there and I always felt terrible afterwords. It's nice to hear someone else felt similarly,l. Thank-you.
Not sure exactly what made me check out nostr again. Happy I did. Something about it made sense this time. I see clearly now that if you're going to spend time and energy on social media, nostr is the only worthwhile place to do so. The others completely drained me, like they were stealing my soul π
Yeah there was hardly any rest for those power cleans. The quality of my lifts were definitely deteriorating by the end. But I'm taking group crossfit classes, so I usually just do whatever they say so I don't fall behind the class time wise and hold everyone up.
I do think about making a program for myself and doing some solo workouts and seeing how that goes. It does seem like it would be a lot more chill. I think I've learned enough that I'm probably ready to do something like that.
But I do find the group classes fun and it's nice to have a coach watching and giving advice and correcting form.

Every 3:00 x 4 sets:
3-3-3 touch and go power cleans
Resting 30 seconds between triples
I did 115lbs.
Then,
For time:
4 sets
9 bar facing purples
6 deadlifts 155lbs; scaled from 225lbs
6 bar facing burpees
6 deadlifts
1:00 rest between sets
Time: 9:47
I went a little too light on the deadlifts. I think that felt a lot easier than it was supposed to feel. But probably not a bad idea to take it easy every now and then.
The 4 sets of 9 power cleans felt the hardest.

Awesome move! As an ex smoker myself I'll say quitting was one of the best decisions of my life (though starting was probably one of the worst so I guess it balances out lol). Remember you have never and will never "need" nicotine. It's just a lie our addicted minds tell us. We never needed nicotine before we started.
A book I read that I give all the credit for me quitting puts it like this: "The only reason a smoker smokes is to feel again like a non-smoker." We smoke to feel briefly "normal" but it only puts us in a vicious cycle.
I feel that. The things unthinking people say can really hurt. I often don't really know what the best course of action to take is. I always feel an instinctual need to retaliate and lash back, but there's another quieter part in me that tells me that's not the way.
I think it's best to not engage. I say just feel the pain, let it break your Heart. The Heart is truly indestructible, it will heal and come back stronger and more invigorated. Truth and Beauty will become more visible and accessible to you. And those who made the nasty comments will be left weaker and sadder.

20 air squats

Rest 5:00, then

3 wall walks
50 double unders
Everything was going well until the double unders. There was a time cap of 35:00 and I hit that during the 3rd round of double unders. I was doing them really well 3 weeks ago, but this past week I can't string more than 5 or 6 in a row. Oh well. I stayed after and finished the workout on my own, past the time cap. Not really sure how long it took me all in all, but I did finish the workout and I have a lot of whip marks on my arms and legs to prove it lmao.
