As the store of value premium on houses goes away this will not be the case anymore. Rents are inflated by parallel rising mortgage costs which are a result of boomers using them as savings instruments. Maintenance is also rising faster than house values right now. Also, being a landlord can be horrible. Custodying bitcoin is much cleaner and easier.
Cutting-edge health knowledge can be summed up in one simple idea: an outdoor lifestyle. Red light therapy, heat shock proteins/ sauna, cold exposure, grounding, eating whole foods, functional fitness, probiotics (which sounds to me like having germs on your food), exercise, the benefits of sunlight, etc. Aren't we just simulating being outside at this point? Seems very fiat, no? People are selling us the experience of being outside in 15 different expensive services. Sickest rebrand ever.

My brother was obsessed with Alan Watts for a time while we lived together. He would play Watts on the TV as ambient listening. His voice is very relaxing. Watts helped me to understand Taoism. Everyone makes caricatures of religion but when you really hear them expounded by devoted adherants, the experience can be surreal. Very worldview expanding.
