There's two with that tag from me. It seems to cover a big chunk of Utrecht which is nice.

nostr:npub1az9xj85cmxv8e9j9y80lvqp97crsqdu2fpu3srwthd99qfu9qsgstam8y8BR053: the upcoming v26 release only supports assumeutxo on testnet and signet.

v27 might support mainnet. The code contains a hash, but you have to bring your own snapshot (I'll probably publish a torrent).

There are some half baked ideas out there to distribute the snapshots via p2p in the future(tm).

Socratic seminar is happening this Wednesday afternoon in Amsterdam: https://meetu.ps/e/My45b/16xGp/i

We'll find out, as you reminded me to share my blog post over there: https://sprovoost.nl/2023/08/24/tornado-cash-ofac-arrests/

Before and after, but if that had anything to do with it, why unban me long before the actual trials?

And even when unbanning you they maintain the arrogant attitude of "it was your fault".

Still no idea why my account over there was suspended.

Another day another mastodon admin rugging their users (apparently, I saw a message of someone looking for their lost followers from a new instance).

Nostr fixes this*.

I haven't watched the 60' nor read the book, but this seems concerning: https://youtu.be/B2z8ikGLRh8

Some updates on the Bitcoin, Explained podcast in episode 84. We also discuss the recent invalid block and some fun Bitcoin Core merges.

BIP324 (p2p encryption) and AssumeUTXO (for testnet and signet) were both merged this morning! They'll be ready for testing in the upcoming v26 release.

Both features are opt-in.
