Like just display things differently
Why don't you add a button next to handle with a unique note id. Whenever someone zap that keep that zap count againt that id and display it next to handle. This means different notes will have diff6xap count. For apple it would be zapping profile but you can still differentiate and dispaly.
What about zap button right next to handle and not below the note. Wouldn't that work?
If you want you can zap the person.
