What I find particularly interesting about the new Surf app is the combination of posts from Bluesky, Threads, and the Fediverse in one feed. Everything is grouped together by the topic of the subscribed feed.
Unfortunately, the app only allows you to log in to Bluesky and Mastodon instances. Instances from other Fediverse projects are rejected.

Once the purchase of TikTok in the USA has been successfully completed, Fediverse and Nostr will become tendril networks (see "The Network Revolution" by Jacques Vallee) that will colonize the niches between the commercial platforms.

Ich will das Konzept des Konstruktivismus als Ganzes ja gar nicht in Abrede stellen, nur eben das Resultat daraus als Realität zu bezeichnen.
Ich gehe in soweit mit, dass eben nur das erdacht und erzeugt werden kann, was neuronal mit uns im Gehirn und unserem Gedächtnissystem vorhanden, verdrahtet und vernetzt ist.
Der Mensch kann als Informationsprozessor verstanden werden, der auf Reize in seiner Umwelt mit all seinen neuronalen und Nerven-Netzwerken verlustfrei agieren und reagieren kann. Es existieren etliche Informationsnetzwerke der Biologie, Physik und der Sozioökonomie, wie z.B. Arbeit, Bildung, Erziehung, Handel, Kunst und Kultur, sowie auch in der Technologie, die wiederum auf uns Menschen und auf menschlichen Informationsnetzen basieren.
Der sich daraus entwickelnde Konsens stellt die Wirklichkeit dar, auf die wir uns als Gesellschaft geeinigt haben.
Wenn Du in deiner Argumentation den Begriff Realität durch Wirklichkeit ersetzt, gehe ich mit.
Realität ist für mich die physikalische Basis, die tatsächlich ohne unsere Existenz auskommt.

I am new to Nostr and use Amerhyst. I noticed the menu item "Broadcast" in the context menu of a note.
Am I right in assuming that this distributes this note to the relays that have been set up?
My fingers are too nervous for the touchscreen these days. I'm constantly hitting two buttons at the same time. 😟
I am also more of a supporter of "small fedi" and see it as an antidote to technology corporations or perhaps more of a movement that is about a collaborative grassroots movement.
However, the essay elaborates on a few points that "big fedi" is already making:
- For it to grow, everyone involved should focus on a single technical standard
- The focus should be on onboarding, training and developer experience.
- The goal is to involve the whole world
In the end, both views will probably have to get along, in the best case they cooperate with each other.

Ehrlich gesagt, hab ich bei den Nostr-Clients ziemlich den Überblick verloren und bleibe erst mal bei meiner aktuellen Kombination. Damit komme ich in meinem Alltag gut zurecht.
Zum Glück greift bei Nostr jeder Client auf den gleichen Datenbestand zu. Nicht wie im Fediverse, bei dem man bei jedem neuen Account/Instanz praktisch bei Null startet.
Ich nutze habla.news Da ist das Interface schön auf das Wesentliche reduziert und es gibt beim Schreiben praktisch keine Ablenkung.
Daß man fehlende Emoji-Symbole einfach von der https://emojipedia.org/ kopieren und hier einfügen kann, muß man auch erst mal kommen.

Ja, ist mir auch aufgefallen. Manche Apps sind sogar mit Vorsicht zu genießen. Hab mir heute früh doch tatsächlich mit einer anderen App meine Profildaten zerschossen. Kurzer Schreck, aber alles wieder gut. 😉

Völlig richtig! In dem Artikel hab ich mich auch nur auf kommerzielle Plattformen bezogen. Möglicherweise kam das allerdings nicht stark genug zum Ausdruck.
