This is awesome! If I understand this correctly it means potentialy no more need for manual key verification in terminal, etc? This could help mark the end of malicious copycat programs because you can easily verify the real author via Nostr?

I guess it'll still just come down to the authors keys not being compromised or a malicious dev that builds up trust and then rugs everybody in the end, but thats always a risk.

I've heard Canadian's use it. No idea on the origin.

My take:

- For payments using your own node: Yes, the best way to manage and use.

- For normal sized lightning payments using their system: Yes, good enough.

- For small boosts on Nostr using their system: No, fees are too high to receive. Not sure if the fees are still 50%, but check the details on fees for sure.

This whole chlormequat thing is interesting. Like usual, the data is limited, but doesn't look good. Keep in mind that "limits" are often a joke as proper science hasn't been done. Anyone watched the movies Dark Waters (PFOA/Teflon) or HBO documentary Crime of the Century (Synthetic Opiates)? Anyone notice that the way drug companies worked in Crime of the Century was an exact playbook again with the covid vaccines? Scary.

I am missing a lot of posts from people I follow. Nostr really needs a notification service that can tell you when specific people post. That's something worth paying for. 😉
