Welcome,

Quite well I would say.

Go fetch some people to follow there

https://following.space/

Setup your zaps. If you already have an LNAddress add it to your profile. Otherwise minibits wallet is nice although custodial through the use of cashu.

You can read about it in

https://cashu.space

Those online discussion somewhat lack the nuance needed to form an opinion. To me both sides make important points. Longer form discussions. I find that

And

Actually help both with forming an opinion and to understand that the question is nuanced and more complex that internet shitposting can ever convey.

To reiterate, personal attacks are never ok. If you disagree come prepared to refute the actual points, not to shut people down.

However heated a discussion is, attacks are never ok.

We want the best outcome for Bitcoin. We can't achieve that by shutting down people we disagree with.

⚡️💬 I usually express myself in the evening before going to bed... but this time I can't wait. It has to come out.

Some people are embarrassed when I publish "sensitive" information: about the catastrophic situation in Gaza, the treatment of Snowden, Covid and all its excesses, Yemen, Israeli politics, the management of the European Union and other subjects…

I deeply respect all sensibilities - but I respect my own conscience even more.

This protocol shouldn't just be used to talk about development or to say "GM". (Go on, it's not a criticism.) But it would be, in my eyes, a huge waste if we were to settle for that.

Let me be clear: I'm not here ONLY to talk about Bitcoin or AI - even though I love these subjects, and take immense pleasure in dealing with them.

But whenever there's injustice, oppression, or complicit silence, I feel a responsibility: to relay. And I will continue to do so. Whether you like it or not.

Even if my number of subscribers halves, even if my income from Nostr drops - I won't regret this message. I just had to say it.

Because that's what Nostr is for me too: a free, uncensored space where you can let the light shine where others prefer the shadows.

And all the work I've done here - hundreds of hours, maybe more than a thousand, at the rate of 8 hours a day for 130 days - is meaningless if I can't express myself freely.

With all due respect once again, if we finally have an unfiltered space, then let's use it for what really matters. Denounce. Inform. Resist.

But also have fun, share, experiment. Nothing wrong with that.

Nothing changes after this message. I'll keep talking about what feels right - Bitcoin, Gaming, AI or Gaza.

Because freedom is also the freedom not to look away.

By all means keep doing what you do.

urxvt + tmux (not only for terminal multiplexing but also because I'm always sshing somewhere and want my sessions to be persistent)

I had a story that happened in France,

A local Karen was raising hell onto a shop owner until she said: Sir, the customer is king.

Yes madam, but we are in France and here we send kings to the scaffold.
