I’ve tried it a little here and there and decided to take an eight week intro to pottery class this fall. Only one night was dedicated to wheel throwing. This was made then. I’d had a one off night of wheel throwing in 2022. Nothing else pottery wise since I was about 14.

What client are you using? Likely it does not. On #Primal, the yellow "star" with a check-mark in it means the user has donated $1,000 or more to Primal and therefore has a lifetime premium subscription.

As a newer potter my wheel throwing is still terrible. I currently derive joy from trying to throw cylindrical forms, doing an absolutely terrible job and then smashing the clay. I was taking a pottery class and needed a thrown object to fire and glaze. I just couldn’t find a rhythm on the wheel. I had a bowl I threw with uneven walls that I would’ve loved to smash. For the sake of the class it survived to be glazed. I actually rather like the wonky bowl. #ceramics #pottery #makers #makersofnostr #handmade

Why do you need an Algo?

Just give people the ability to choose.

Why not let the individual to decide what he would see?

Anyone who makes money on anything earn it from their customers. The question is, who is the customer? Is the user? Is the advertisers? Is it artists and content creators? If Nostr devs want to become profitable then they need to define that for themselves and build a business plan around that.

Social media is full of people you don’t know trying to make you care about issues that have no impact on your life, so they can get likes/views/impressions and earn a little money from advertisers trying to sell stuff you don’t need. 😭 Nostr fixes this 💜

We all had the unpleasant experience of coning across some people that we feel that should be banned. That they had no place speaking in any public forum. And maybe we were even right.

The problem is that if you give someone the power to ban people for the right reasons, you also give them the power to ban people for the wrong reasons
