Meaning log out of Amethyst. Remove nsec. Then log back in with Amber. Fair enough
Well sure, problem is I got Amber last not first... Generally speaking a new nostr user will just put the nsec straight into their first client. Or even have the client directly produce it. Chicken and egg ya know
Hadn't heard of keychat yet. What's that for?
I have firefox installed literally only for this, for nos2x. And now I have Amber (which I got for pairing with Citrine)
So now I have my seed in 3 places.
Amethyst which I popped it in first.
Nos2x
Amber
Why can't Amethyst just act as a signer?? nostr:nprofile1qqsyvrp9u6p0mfur9dfdru3d853tx9mdjuhkphxuxgfwmryja7zsvhqpzamhxue69uhhv6t5daezumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tcpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgswaehxw309ahx7um5wghx6mmd9u2mk7fe #asknostr
That should be a meme.
```You a cypher punk using Arch?
Yep
Can you use your fingerprint reader or print?
Heeelll naw dude that'd be crazy```
Totally different things. Proxmox is for my server. I'm talking about my ThinkPad laptop now
Lenova Thinkpad T480 32GB Ram, i5 💪☠️🤌💦
I agree, I run Mint.
What's the best way for a new user to run Arch?
EndeavorOS or Manjaro?
TIL that Bitcoiners care more about spending all of September debating the difference between financial and non-financial uses of Bitcoin.
Whilst totally ignoring the (avoidable) complete lack of base layer privacy...
Come on lads, get your heads out of your asses and focus on what's important...
Wen will Libbitcoin pass Core and Knots? ⏳
“For maximum privacy protection, Monero is the superior choice. Its mandatory, default anonymity ensures comprehensive safeguards without relying on user diligence, delivering verifiable untraceability and true fungibility that Bitcoin's transparent base layer model can't match in practice.”
- Expatriotic
I avoid Grab or Bolt and use regular taxis or motorbike taxis "motosai" or songthaew/สองแถว
Both because it's cheaper and to avoid surveillance
nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z 's guide needs an update since Amethyst has been updated to use outbox and has added a few relay categories. General relays are no longer needed, since the app will automatically try to connect to the relays your follows have listed as their outbox relays.
When it comes to follow count, it is best to just embrace the chaos. Your follower count will always vary based on the relays Amethyst is able to connect to. There may be follow lists with you included on them that live only on relays Amethyst did not or was not able to connect to, so the number will always be an approximation.
"Embrace the chaos"
The path you describe is a challenging one.
“This is the currency of the resistance.”
