There are a couple of math theories and some practical experiments in this area but its just scientists having fun. Today, even if something like this gets developed, nobody knows will it be more efficient at hacking bitcoin than an ASICS fleet or less efficient. Nobody knows how those quantum algos (to attack and to defend) would look like. Thats all speculations
