Gonna add a 10Mio channel today which gets the Closeness rank of my #lightningnode down to 88.

Lightning is often criticized for centralization but plebs like my not gonna stand still and let that happen!

There are some Pleb Channels out there to route your daily #Lightning payments.

For e.g.

I have 37 Channels. My node (lnd) runs on a VM.

Intel 10900kf 10 Cores, 64GB, NVME.

So my VM runs only on 4 Cores, 4GB Ram and uses 10 Percent CPU Power and 2.7 GB RAM.

I dont see any performance issues at all.

But once that happens i simply shutdown the vm for a minute increase cores and Ram and fire it back up.

Whats your actual Hardware. Whats your Node and Channel count?

Few days ago i opened a channel to a pleb! Not a LSP or Exchange.

I contacted him today and we both lowered our fees from around 800ppm to 200ppm to really get the channel going.

Not possible when you only open channels to big players!

I have a #truenas to save my pictures and videos from vacation etc. Auto uplod via Filesync App.

I manage those pics with Lightroom on my pc because i can filter those pics easily with metadata.

It works pretty good. But it cost me ~12 Euro/month for the lightning abo.

Any other solutions out there?
