Visited the Einundzwanzig bitcoin meetup in Düsseldorf yesterday evening together with my wife. Amazing to speak with German bitcoiners. Tried my best speaking German and got to meet some great people. Brought some merch along for the interested. Coincidentally a blockstream developer didn’t see the jade yet, so happily bought one. Cheaper than ordering it directly from the US 😉 also received a really amazing present, a NFC payment card with my lookalike on it. Backside reads noderunners and eyes flash when you hold it on the NFC. 🙏 it was great meeting all. Bought some cyberbee honey and enjoyed the beautiful basement location. Can someone open source the recipe of the wurst und kartoffelsalat? 😉

When you spend a lot of time on socials, do you find it more difficult to concentrate?

Congrats! Now you’re a complete bitcoiner. You’ll have fresh sats coming from the coinbase. They’ll be special a hundred years from now. Take good care of them mr swan!

If you want to exchange to fiat, I guess we still need them. How quickly can we setup circular economies without needing fiat across the globe?

Justin, you run a node, right? Guess it’s time for a noderunners Nostr peer to peer international trading network 😉

This morning I spend my time trying to count the total number of bitcoin transactions I did in 2022. I come to a rough estimation of ~300 on-chain transactions. And ~4700 Lightning transactions. Of the lightning transactions I have hundreds of failures, mostly related to LNURL and some to routing problems. I have extensively used Blue Wallet, Muun Wallet, Btcpayserver. For cold storage I mostly used foundation devices passport, blockstream jade and seedsigner. I tested a lot with Breez, Fountain, Phoenix. Bitcoin integrated use in 3rd party apps such as Damus (using bitcoin apps), Twitter tipping. Websites to spend some sats Konsensus, Noderunners, printer gobrrr and of course testing and receiving a lot with my own https://bitcoinbrabant.com/ and https://www.bitcoinbloem.com/

Ever listened to bitbuybit? Think you’ll like the technical parts. Recap of last month is nice, discussing gap limit etc. https://fountain.fm/episode/12380282325
