The "drink a gallon of water a day" has no basis is any science. It's a bit of an outdated myth and apparently popularized by the bottled watert companies which I suspect to be certainly true. I used to be a long distance runner & drank a lot of water & made my own electrolyte drinks too (a great thing to do). Drinking more water than yout body needs won't necessarily harm you but it is also redundant. This is from McGill University on the myth of 8 glasses a day: "There is no real advantage to drinking more water. Some people believe that drinking more water helps flush out toxins or helps your kidneys in some way, but that is actually not true. Your kidney filters about 180 liters of blood every day. Given that you have about 5 liters of blood inside you at any given moment, your kidney filters the equivalent of your blood volume 36 times per day. Any excess water you drink is a drop in the metaphorical bucket and shouldn’t make a difference."

I read his book Ghost in the Wires about 10 years ago, what a great read. He seemed like a really good man. 59 is too young and now his child will never know him. Very sad.

Once the people who study the planets, stars, galaxies, black holes, worm holes, dark matter..... & signs of life beyond the earth I'll be much more likely to believe it. Of course there might be aliens among us right now but none of us are aware nor have the ability to be aware. What I won't accept is that the government is the only entity to know. They can't even keep the economy on track or win a war against enemies who have a fraction of the weapons. They are one of the most useless & incompetent organizations in history.

Where did I mention anything about eating processed foods? All I responded to was the carnivore diet. Humans haven't existed for a million+ years by eating meat exclusively. I think eating nothing but meat/animal products and no plants at all is probably a risk for your health but go ahead if you want to I don't care.

Of course in 20 years of eating a carnovire diet things might become a whole lot more complicated for your intestines & colon etc. Seems like a risky way to live to me but each to their own 👍
