Hodl is ridiculous sometimes. It's just like his assertion that all you need to do to fix your depression is go to the gym. People commit suicide because of depression but they could have saved themselves if they'd gone to the gym. He has also insisted that bitcoin will hit $1 million this bull run but his prediction for the last bull run was $300k. We havent even hit $75k yet. I like Hodl he means well but he isn't to be taken seriously.

I'm sensing a lack of confidence among bitcoiners recently. Arthur Hayes talked about Blackrock being in the ETF business for the benefit of the US gov't. On the other hand I never thought the $1 million predictions by 2026 by people such as Hayes, Jack Mallers, Samson Mow, Hodl etc are helpful at all, they will just disappoint people. We haven't even got to $75k yet never mind Hodl's previous bull run prediction of $300k a few years ago.

Personally I'm skeptical of another retail led bull run. Most people are aware of bitcoin & they are either going to buy it because they believe it's worth holding or they won't touch it, the days of jumping in on an upward move are likely gone for most people too many have been burned (although they should have held on instead of selling at a loss).

I agree with a lot of what Saylor says & it flies in the face of maxi's who used to tell us bitcoin will kill the banks. No, the banks will get involved in bitcoin if there's money to be made. Saylor is obviously very confident which helps me keep confident although as time goes by (been here over 7yrs) my confidence in bitcoin isn't what it was. Talk in the past of governments not being able to kill bitcoin seem a little fanciful now. I think the government's ability to crush anything it wants is more powerful than we like to believe. An inability to create a widespread use of bitcoin as a MoE coupled with a hostile government could be devastating to bitcoin.

I don't eat any meat but no doubt properly raised or wild meat is healthy foid. What is ridiculous though is the meat-only brigade, the carnivore types. Extremism isn't healthy but it's their lives and IGAF what they eat but it will have consequences 20-30yrs down the road for them.

I haven't eaten any meat in 39 years. I'm not vegan, I just don't eat meat & always been in good health. These carnivore types are a bore.

I'm in the pacific northwest & we have lots of farmers markets & there are great choices of fruits & vegetables here. I assume good quality meat is available too but I don't eat meat. I used to buy raw milk & eggs from a local farmer, not sure he sold meat tbh but if he did & I ate meat I would have bought it from him. I would never eat meat from a regular supermarket.

That doesn't surprise me. People can scream Freedom Tech but if it means getting absolutely hammered with spam and bots then Nostr will die pretty fast. Hope it gets dealt with soon, it's a shame.

I say bullshit. I'm no Coinbase fan but 8 months into ETF's and them pulling this makes zero sense. It would be the end of their business in ETF's if they were caught doing it. It's just bitcoiners looking for a reason why the price isn't moving up & coming up with this.

Have you seen Nil By Mouth? It was written & directed by Oldman in the late 90’s. I haven't watched it since it was released but damn it was brutal. A great movie but very real, too real in some ways because the fucked up existence of the characters was hard to watch. Ray Winstone stars in it & he's always been a favourite of mine
