Just checking in seeing if there's any updates on Mastodon changing usernames.

Two things can simultaneously be true:

1) I want Nostr to succeed.

2) I don't love what it is today.

Thankful for all those continuing to work on Nostr and the broader ecosystem 🫂

I only criticize out of love and to be sure that people understand that there are actually tradeoffs with Nostr! We need dissenting opinions on here.

3. Carbon greens the world

4. Carbon increases agricultural productivity

5. If you assume carbon as the trace gas climate control knob (this is a scam, btw), a warming planet is better for humans, and for biodiversity

6. Carbon capture will go as one of the largest rent seeking scams once humanity evolves past the age of fiat

7. New tech advances should be welcome, and not blocked. Until proven otherwise, nothing can replace organic energy’s role in powering transportation, agriculture, silicon factories at scale today
