Thank you! I started with penciling in a few using part of an oval stencil. Then got off track when using the paintbrush, but ultimately I wanted the scales to be imperfect and organic, so it worked out. 😄
Looking back, it definitely was. At various points during the process … not so much. 😅

Used metallic copper acrylic paint for scales. Added 22 birds. Signed the bottom and back.

Warbreaker is awesome and is a standalone novel, while also being part of the Cosmere.

Day 16/24 - this is how I usually work a jigsaw puzzle: edges inward.
Since these puzzles are so small (around 6” x 4”) the interior edge will usually have an obvious place for a whimsy piece … like putting the Christmas tree whimsy on its right side to fit into the bottom right corner.
