zap.cooking...who knew? (Found it thanks! 😃 )
Good morning nostr, and happy friday. Even though i dont have a regular job, there's something fun about fridays, and waking up to a chilly 40F makes it even better. I have a long list of things to do today. We have family coming tomorrow, and i need to get some meat out of the freezer for creamy taco soup. The kids all love it, even the picky ones. So yall have a great day, enjoy your coffee, and remember that today is a gift. #coffeechain #grownostr #homesteading https://nostrcheck.me/media/8d9d2b77930ee54ec3e46faf774ddd041dbb4e4aa35ad47c025884a286dd65fa/2ab290b5ff3e9a4e2a2a96f56ffdad5f8a6bf610ea7d14c7825a80e96b0b5a22.webp
Post the recipe please! 😃
GM Nostr! Happy Friday!
Shopping for a new TV for Black Friday...so many offers, different technologies, prices, etc.
Definitely need a coffee to get through this...

Let's be clear--the US Government does all these things.
The US (and by that I mean the citizens) do not.
Government is the problem.
Man that's a tough choice--being debt free is a blessing...
Raspberry Pis can do most anything...yeah, they're a bit geeky, but for just a few $$ you can have a "barrel full of monkeys" worth of fun...
(You owe it to yourself to get one if you've never done so).
Good morning nostr, its a chilly 36F and we have the woodstove burning. Daisy loves to sit in front of the stove because she chills easily. So today we have errands to run, then i want to clean house and finish trimming shrubs. Yall have a great Thursday, enjoy your coffee, and remember that today is a gift. #coffeechain #grownostr #homesteading https://nostrcheck.me/media/8d9d2b77930ee54ec3e46faf774ddd041dbb4e4aa35ad47c025884a286dd65fa/5d9d913c1e4ae082d8e834d883ef37bef15ae43939954f342fcce2318ece08c8.webp
Dogs and woodstoves (and campfires) are a great combination...
GM Nostr! Happy Thursday!
Finally got my 3D print to where I'm satisfied with it, and consequently have one #Meshtastic node ready to travel.
Going to modify the design a bit for the second node--going to remove the screen, which should get the thickness down quite a bit.
Will (of course) need coffee to accomplish this...

Same here really--looked at pretty much everything. But after watching a few tutorials I could see #FreeCAD would be able to do everything I'd want out of a CAD package.
Perhaps not as elegant as a commercial alternative, but it'll get the job done.
Kind of like Excel vs. Libre...there are things in Excel I miss...but if I never knew about them, I would probably feel Libre is perfectly capable.
Didn't know your were a freeCAD guy nostr:npub1q6ya7kz84rfnw6yjmg5kyttuplwpauv43a9ug3cajztx4g0v48eqhtt3sh...
And yes, freeCAD is a bit of a challenge, but I'm getting better at it (but certainly just scratching the surface so far). Like anything, the time invested to learn will give you a life-long skill, so will press on regardless...
And of course anything that runs on Linux is my preferred option (and free is always welcome). 😃
Freebanding--and I have to ask myself is "why bother"?
Getting a HAM license is trivial (especially with the currently available online tools).
If you don't want to take the test, pay a small fee for a GMRS license.
If neither of those work, then CB of course is still free.
GM Nostr! Happy Wednesday!
Still working on the 3D print design for my #Meshtastic nodes...trying to get them as compact as possible, while still being able to take advantage of all the features (as well as learning #freeCAD along the way). Fun project all the way around.
Need some coffee before I fire up freeCAD again though...

GM Nostr! Happy Tuesday!
Still working on #meshtastic...thinking of grabbing a $30 Moto G (onsale from Best Buy) as a front-end (hard to pass up at that price). Wondering if I'd even need to sign into Google to use that...hmmm...
Going to research that over a cup of coffee...

Sooner or later, folks will understand that the only platform that supports free speech is Nostr.
Long before COVID, when I was in university, and I saw firsthand a nationally famous researcher pull "outliers" from their data set, so that the results would turn out the way their sponsor wanted.
I knew then that all the research going on in academia was fraudulent, with sponsors "paying" for the results they wanted.
Perhaps, but if so I'm illiterate in that regard. (Sheesh, sometimes I can't even make sense of what I'm thinking...)
GM Nostr! Happy Monday!
Hope everyone is getting ready for a good week!

#GrapheneOS fixes this...
