Peace, love, freedom. First freedom.. Maddie de Garay was a 12 year old in the trial for Pfizer's covid vaccine. Immediately after her second jab she had a severe reaction that has put her in a wheelchair ever since. Pfizer simply decreed that this was not an effect of the vaccine - even though this was in the trial whose purpose is literally to determine the vaccine's effects. The FDA and CDC would not even speak to Maddy's parents. They tried to convince them Maddy was crazy. There is no possible conclusion except that the vaccines were developed in bad faith, and the authorities - including any doctors who promoted the vaccines - cannot be trusted. Be in no doubt that they will kill your children if it suits them. Never forget, never forgive. https://fullmeasure.news/newest-videos/vaccine-trials

Dunno how I missed this but nostr:npub1trr5r2nrpsk6xkjk5a7p6pfcryyt6yzsflwjmz6r7uj7lfkjxxtq78hdpu has made a great intro to nostr - explaining how it works, why it's important and why the whole of the free world will end up here 😁

A great link to send curious pre-nostriches:

By the way ibuprofen is really bad, they don't tell you. It literally killed my dad.

Aside from what Nostr has taught me about Bitcoin, I’m so fucking grateful to have been introduced to decentralized social media.

Prior to being on nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg , I didn’t really talk about the things I care about on the internet. It felt counterintuitive and dishonest to talk about health on centralized platforms that consciously make us sick.

I’m so thankful that Nostr has given me somewhere to start playing with my voice. It has given me hope and community.

I’m wholly convinced of its ability to create a free, autonomous, creative, and connected global community. A healthier society.

We just need to keep sparking our neighbors’ fires.

welcome 😀

it's a pretty good time to be alive

I kinda make my own clothes - or at least radically change the ones I buy.

Takes a lot of time but I love going out and knowing everything that goes into people's heads about me is what I wanted, not some corporation.

In my country anyway it's insane to look around and almost everyone is wearing large font expression of some company's language.

Well honestly "shouting" doesn't feel like it's going to be very good for your soul wherever you do it.

I suspect nostr will become like twitter eventually, because people really are susceptible to this kind of addiction, and will demand it. (Tho at least here the algorithms can be open source.)

So maybe check back here in a year or so and it will be able to supply the feelings you want. Especially when eg telegram users have been driven here. And who knows how long Elon will hold out against the entire western government elite.

Personally I found it a relief to be able to escape the manic compulsion that twitter instils in you, but still feel connected to something.

"Dopamine doesn't exist for no reason. I tells you when you're doing something worthwhile, at least when it's functioning properly."

Chris do you think that relying on a closed-source algorithm to tell you what you're doing is worthwhile, by literally controlling your neurophysiology, might have some downsides?

"Nostr is the opposite of that.".

Well, yes it is 😁

better management of lists / feeds / filters and groups of content generally.

feels like this can be a huge strength of nostr to really make this configurable by the user

at a minimum i'd like to be able to directly add an npub to a feed or list without going via listr.lol or something

can imagine doing that with more sophisticated searches / filters

Another reason I'm skeptical of the "top-down" thesis is the fact that covid has made things much, much harder for the elites.

Things were going along nicely with climate change. No big jumps to put people on the alert. All roads leading inexorably towards communism and no obvious obstacles, hardly any dissent. But with covid they woke maybe 10% of the western world up to the fact they were being lied to systematically. Those people will never believe anything they're told now. Things are much, much harder for the elites as a result.

So literally I think that the most plausible "top-down" thesis, for covid anyway, is one where the elites are benevolent, and actively trying to wake people up in order to free humanity. Not saying I believe that - the bottom-up thesis seems far more likely - but I cannot see covid being part of any rational strategy for global enslavement. Unless the elites are retarded, in which case I think you end up with bottom up anyway.

He'll come here when he's banned from everything else - just like he'll use bitcoin when he can't use anything else 😀

It's weird he's so against it. He talks about getting into in 2011 or something. If he bought any and held it I'm sure he'd be saying something different - and the fact he's against suggests to me he is bitter about missing it.

El gato malo talking about how we need an open protocol for social media.

If anyone follows him on X or substack, now might be the time to tell him the good news...
