yes, of course it is
3) I might as well be in the new global elite I guess
Nostr is basically a bug fix for the internet.
Future generations will look back at facebook and twitter the same way as we look back at aol.com etc
@nathan is a legend, www.btcmap.org is a big part of how we win..
good times! 😁
sounds like you have a few tales to tell!
if you're promising I can do anything I want then please sign me up for flying. and maybe time travel 😁
sounds corny I know but freedom is inside. and it doesn't change if some psychos lock you in a cage
if freedom depends on anyone else granting it to you, then we are talking about different things
I miss masks
whenever I wanted to tell the sheep to go fuck themselves I just went for a walk through some stores grinning at them
eh i'm free already and i don't give a fuck about anyone else
I had Madeira on the list too but nostr:npub1fjqqy4a93z5zsjwsfxqhc2764kvykfdyttvldkkkdera8dr78vhsmmlekukind of put me off 😂
he says Bulgaria tho!
do we know saylor uses coinbase - and therefore, hilariously, is actually short bitcoin?
it would be beautiful 😁
Since covid tyranny struck I always had this idea that things would happen by freedom-lovers being squeezed out of the mainstream, looking for places they could build a life - and all ending up clumping together
If you have a few dozen people around you, you're done - that's a community as far as I'm concerned, and things are only likely to grow from there
I really think that that's happening, we've passed the tipping point - eg el zonte in salvador. It doesn't matter what happens to bukele, there's a community there now, people have found each other and they're not going back
Hey how about the Isle of Man next time...
..maybe not this time of year but will be great in the summer, I'm seriously considering

oh i just realized you're the guy who made the bedford trip report 😁
as someone connected to the uk, the idea that *bedford* would turn out to be the crucible of the revolution is 🤯 😂 😂 😂
honestly, check out www.btcmap.org/map - there are a lot of apparent hotspots in unexpected areas
of course, they might not be real but the guys who run the map are legit
eg, the isle of man in UK.. ...lugano in switzerland.. ..some islands i never heard of off belize!
if this is at all real, it's a grassroots uprising
100% - and this is why I think the map is important as a tool for outreach and onboarding.
This year I am going to:
- print leaflets explaining bitcoin and how and why to accept it, eg something like https://bridge2bitcoin.com/downloads/ (I have seen templates for this somewhere, so you can compose your own, but can't find right now)
- print stickers like this https://btcmap.org/images/logo.svg
- get a clipboard lol
- go around independent businesses asking if they accept bitcoin, explaining why they might want to (and adding that they can get on this map www.btcmap.org/map and earn a sticker..)
- offer to set them up with eg wallet of satoshi there and then (and buy something)
It's going to be an absolute blast!
It's very simple.
Everything that can be censored, will be censored - and become a slave mine basically. Even if, say Elon Must means it when he says he supports freedom of speech, it's essentially impossible for him to follow through on it - even without a gun to his head, which will happen sooner or later.
So anyone who doesn't want to live in a slave mine will be forced to use the alternatives that cannot be censored - that is, nostr and bitcoin.
It is completely inevitable.
