I mean, that’s kind of what happens when you centralize all the extensions and try to maintain them yourself. 🤷

If you know what game i’m teaching my kids right now, we can be friends.

#asknostr Bitcoin/lightning testnet is horribly broken. What are you using to test your apps with real users but not on mainnet?

I’ll be honest, the acting was pretty bad. But visually pretty good and it followed the animated series pretty well. Definitely enjoyed it. Saca’s nose is pretty distracting though.

#asknostr I’m building the mempool.space of mobile apps. Should/How could I integrate #nostr in a useful way?

My daughter calls my bitcoin basketball my “money ball”. She knows what’s up. https://nostrcheck.me/media/public/nostrcheck.me_5432846527826064011705175906.webp

Stuff like this is why I couldn’t make any progress on integrating #lightning while I worked at blockchain.com.

Shitcoins simply take up too much mindshare for people, and the thing, Bitcoin, that drive almost all of the revenue and usage always gets deprioritized. It doesn’t make any sense.

Just like blocks maybe? Your peers determine which code (commits) are the trusted ones and then you build the source code based off that commonly agreed upon commit sha.

Good idea or bad idea?

Instead of hosting history’s greatest money, #Bitcoin  , on servers owned by Microsoft’s GitHub, why not store the git repo in each bitcoin node’s codebase? Then the node syncs its commits and prs over the network and devs can use an open source git gui locally on their computer?

What are the most timeless #Bitcoin   articles?

Hey nostr:npub1ew4nntskh08fzkwjusrc9u5627g639c5z6udc4q3a3plr9ns4naqxp6qlf I both love and hate that you started the first LN ad network. I guess it had to happen eventually. Could you add some kind “market rate” for sending satograms? It’s getting annoying seeing all these 1 and 2 sat keysend payments in my tx list.

Yeah totally. Could you even build some kind of script that node runner could install next to their node that somehow signals the lowest fee someone is willing to take? If you built that service you could also report that information back to your own server to tell advertisers what range they should set it at. (ex. Reach 10 nodes by paying 10k Sats, reach 100 nodes by paying 1k Sats, reach 10k nodes by paying 1 sat). I guess there are privacy concerns with that scripts but it could be done in a privacy preserving way. 🤯🤯🤯
