While outside enjoying a cone I caught sight of two fawns with their mom. She was too far back but the fawns were closer.

Well...haven't done one on entertainment on Saturday night in a while so here goes...it looks like it's going to be "Svengoolie" who has "The Shadow of the Cat" on tonight and I don't think I've seen it...going to start with an episode of "Sense8" at 7... and then cocktails at 8...good evening!

Another day of no time for exercise and a late night. Not good for me. But the guests leave tomorrow so I can have a few days back on track before the next batch arrive. It’s been lovely having my dad and his friend M here but I’ve been so busy showing him a good time that I’ve kind of neglected myself. I think I achieved my objective though, seems like he’s really enjoyed himself

.still restrictions from the surgery so I really didn't get much done today..I did get out to pull some weeds from around the mailman's path to the mailbox and then used up the rest of the weed killer that was in the sprayer to spray the crabgrass and weeds out front but that's it..funny thing, when we were talking about the UK trip, my daughter asked me about the shoes I'm taking and I said my 10 year old leather Skechers..she looked at them and said nope..bought me a new pair

I wish Hubs didn't have that horse race on the TV. The horse fell and later had to be put down. I keep thinking about it.

Well...it's been a pretty good day today and I've been enjoying being alone for the first time in two weeks...quite relaxing...just heard from my daughter that she has gotten to the hotel in Columbus since she wasn't going to do the entire way (12 hours) in one bite...I made her pickle recipe this afternoon and had enough dill that I've grown in the garden to put in the jar so we'll see how it tastes...I am going to have cocktails for the first time in 15 days tonight...I have a new bed!
