If you're a Christian, you have to believe in the essential goodness of authority Fathers, apostles, elders, deacons kings, judges prophets, and priests were all God's ideas.

But that doesn't mean you obey unfaithful elders, lazy deacons, lying prophets, abusive fathers, or tyrranical kings without question. God's own authority is always open for appeal through our mediator, Jesus.

Totally, but it doesn't make it any less fiat. What is Fold's business model? Marketing or data collection? You're selling them your data and/or attention in exchange for cash back. That can be ok, I would just expect that for a group of people so interested in reclaiming those things there would be more pushback.

You could use it in production if you wanted, but it wouldn't handle some important things like replaceable events, AUTH, NIP 11, etc

I really don't understand how bitcoiners fail to see this

Just released a new relay called "bucket". It's less than 100 lines of code, just a stupid simple in-memory relay for testing clients.

In kind 1's? This has been discussed many times and decided against, adding text formats puts us on the slippery slope of increasing complexity and higher barrier to entry.

Apologies to everyone hosting images uploaded through Coracle, apparently my data center fell over. Hopefully it comes back!

Yes, let's put a pin in it. I want to address this at some point, but don't currently have the time and public relays seem to be ok with encrypted data for the most part. Once they start rejecting encrypted events and it breaks Coracle this will be top of the list.
