That's rough. I think it's probably best if Satoshi doesn't return, but flip side is kittens dying is sad.
Well, global permissionless monetary network > kittens.
Hey.
I wish she'd find it in her heart to bury the hatchet.
Great to know that it's not noisy, thanks.
I agree, very low odds of solving a block is much better. Best of luck to you sir!
Bots can be nice! I found the android bot recently. I have no idea how clients receive notes from relays, but if the issue is frequency of posts, is it possible to allow users to chose to lump posts by user and time buckets? Say expose a toggle in settings where the global feed would only show the latest post in a X minutes interval of an account if said account posted more than once in a X minutes interval.
Agreed. Best to let it be weird and not try to filter it I think.
I think it's best to let folks figure out what they like. I treat global like a fishing expedition. Might find something nice, probably won't. Different people will find different things they like on global. Global is the wild west and will remain so even if you attempt to filter some of it out.
Price is a function of adoption and money supply
I also fell into the rabbit hole not too long ago. One thing I wish I had known when I got started is that Bull Bitcoin is the best exchange in Canada. They're non custodial which lines up great with self sovereignty, they're bitcoin only, their help desk is amazing, their founder rocks and they're very good at selecting reasonable fees when sending you your bitcoin.
Another thing I learned is that coldcard is great. I started with a ledger but I like coldcard a lot more. Very easy to use as well.
Did you check out the porn accounts?
In Bitcoin, Explained 77, @provoost and I explain BIP 324, the proposal by Dhruv, Pieter Wuille and Tim Ruffing to add peer-to-peer encryption to the Bitcoin protocol.

Thank you for the great episode. I went through most of your backlog in March as I happened to be doing a lot of driving back then. I appreciate how you manage to cover a lot of ground in such a concise format.
Dm reporter is doing everyone a favour exposing the fact that that data is publicly available.
Nostr is new, DMs as they are implemented now probably shouldn't exist. Better alternatives will likely emerge. Maybe the current DMs will in the future only serve as key exchanges and folks will post public notes only intelligible to the key owner.
Did you look into ckpool? The payout is different from other pools. You get 98% of the block reward if you solve it and nothing otherwise. I had a spare computer last year and mined with my cpu on ckpool just for fun. I looked at it like playing the lottery. I never won anything. Basically in your case you either get 14 cents a day guaranteed with slush pool or almost zero chance of getting about 6 btc with ckpool.
Is the Apollo noisy? Main reason I'm looking at getting it is I don't want to deal with the ruckus other Asics make.
Yes on amethyst
