Rizful.com: Free, easy-to-use homebase for Bitcoin on Lightning. ✉️ Free Lightning Address ⚡ Fast, reliable zaps & Lightning payments 🔌 Connect to hundreds of apps with NWC 🛡️ Enterprise-grade uptime & reliability Created by the team behind The Megalith Node, one of the biggest routing nodes on the Lightning Network.

The basic problem is that Leftist thought leaders -- for example the economist Paul Krugman -- have been telling their audience now for 15 years that "bitcoin is a scam". The issue is that in order to change their minds, these thought leaders would have to say "Hey, I was wrong, and also -- oops -- my advice cost you, my audience member, literally millions of dollars.".... This is why progress will be slow with progressives... it will basically take a new generation of progressive thought leaders to make this transition possible....

I think it must have been down for less than an hour, I checked again after that message a few minutes later and it was up

You're having a bad experience with Lightning that often? What bad experience are you having? Zaps that don't work? Your node goes offline? Yes -- if you are trying for example to run your own node, and your internet connection or computer is not online 24/7, then you're going to have a bad time. That's why cloud nodes are a good way to go.

Fair point. Running a node requires keeping it online, and therefore can't really be free. But it can be pretty cheap, and it's kind of fun in my opinion to have your own node that is directly on the Lightning Network.

I think Nostr has a problem with LLM-written articles like this one you just read.... It's too bad because for example the articles that nostr:npub1jlrs53pkdfjnts29kveljul2sm0actt6n8dxrrzqcersttvcuv3qdjynqn writes are great and useful...... but 95% of the articles I see are clearly just a few prompts thrown into an LLM. I wonder if there is a smarter way we could surface the "real" articles instead of the fake...

#asknostr The nostr:npub1yzvxlwp7wawed5vgefwfmugvumtp8c8t0etk3g8sky4n0ndvyxesnxrf8q application recommends these Nostr articles, but every time I click on one... or at least MOST times, I find that they are LLM-written drivel.... quite useless content... I think someone is just churning out lots and lots of these.... Does anyone find these articles useful?
