Bitcoin & 🫂 Oh and dimly trying to think through interesting issues. I think that I don’t have a right to force you to do anything other than not harm me or others. Seems like most people I interact with in the real world disagree with this statement. To be fair.. the devil is in definition of “harm”.

Oh and duh, I could redeem them if they aren’t available for ln withdrawal

One reason I expect people to change is that people adapt to their environment. The broken institutions we have now are a part of our environment. Take those away and we would readapt to the better environment.

Definitely the root of some of the evils

It’s tempting to say that property rights are not a real thing and should not be considered to be.

I’d definitely say that property rights in an absolute sense (like you seem to allude to) don’t really exist. There’s always a state that has a higher level of claim. And then, at the international level it’s all very vague. Like the United States claims it owns New York - California. But in what sense is that claim legitimate?

My heart goes out to the mothers and fathers of both sides who are losing their children in the eastern end of the Mediterranean. War sucks indeed. I don’t know the answers, just what I wish happened ☮️🫂 #thenostatesolution

(4-24 minutes + block mining delay) * 2

It just occurred to me that lighting and ecash would work perfectly well despite the delay.

But I think there will be a long period where the majority of humans live in earth orbit. (More than the sum of those on earth and those outside of earth’s gravity well). There is just so much volume and sunlight power once you go 3d.

Both I guess, but I meant land, speaking hypothetically about Mars, moon, and further settlements.

Middle class and many of its corresponding things are so overrated.

Always go for the best thing. If you can't afford it, always go for the most economic thing instead of in-between things.

This is my enlightment after spending 30+ days in various level of hotels.

Let's use computer/phone as an example first.

Always buy the best, and usually the most expensive, laptop/phone because they last for 5-8 years.

If you buy a mediocre phone, you end up having to get a new one 2-3 years.

The average cost per day is actually higher for mediocre electronics.

Buying the cheapest phone/laptop, on the other hand, might not be as nice, but can also last 2-3 years. Much better deals!

Same goes to hotels/housing.

The hostel I am staying currently, is 50 USD/night. The quality is as good as 150 - 300 USD/night hotels. The only difference is that I have to share the room with 9 other people (not fully booked in reality). But the common area has everything I need. The kitchen actually has better equipments than most 150 - 300 USD Airbnb / Hotels.

The 100 USD / night place is just much worse. Yes, you have your own room. But it's as depressing as a jail cell. No service, no nothing. This is the classic middle class trap.

If you are in middle class incoming level, don't buy middle class thing. Always buy the most economic things.

Then once you are in the high class, always buy the best thing. It's a much better deal.

As long as you are in the Fiat rat race, don't fall into the middle class trap.

Middle class consumption is the most scam thing in the world. Rich people have private clubs. Poor people have homies in the hood. Middle class people have no community! They just work for rich people and spend to rich people.

There is no dignity for middle class.

Staying at a 50 USD / night place makes me happy because it's a good deal. Staying at 500+ USD / night place makes happy because it's good service and I have this illusion of success. Staying at a 250 USD / night place just hurts my soul.

Oh, you know what's the most scamming thing for middle class? Mortage. Don't get mortage to buy a house. It's just a fiat scan to keep rat race rats forever.

If the amount of land is constant on the earth and the amount of bitcoin is also constant. In the future, the land price will always be constant and decreasing overtime because of deflation of bitcoins.

Land is infinite too 🌌

What needs to happen to make this look parabolic again? 🤔 Not that it necessarily needs to
