Unlike Drake, when you truly start from the bottom, there’s only one direction to go: up.

My life feels like it’s in an accumulation phase, much like a trading chart—bouncing between support and resistance with occasional breakouts and breakdowns, but mostly staying within a range.

When I form positive habits and stick to them, it feels like breaking through resistance, and a clear upward trend starts to form. On the other hand, when I give in to bad habits or a lack of discipline, it’s like breaking support and heading downward.

To succeed, I have to consistently build strong habits and work on them every day, much like Darren Hardy describes in The Compound Effect. Success isn’t about dramatic leaps; it’s about steady, incremental growth over time.

Cooking most meals from scratch with whole, fresh ingredients, growing my own vegetables and herbs in the garden, generating electricity with solar panels to reduce reliance on the grid, managing my finances carefully through budgeting and saving, keeping my body and mind healthy with regular exercise and mindfulness practices, securing my Bitcoin with self-custody and holding my own private keys, running a Bitcoin node to stay connected to and support the network, fixing and maintaining things myself with DIY skills, reducing waste through composting and living sustainably, and always learning new skills to stay independent and self-reliant such as language learning.
