Counting calories is not a prerequisite to getting healthy and jacked
My daily food intake is 30%-40% carbs including potatoes and rice lol
1. Simple, it is very hard to overeat when you are eating nutrient dense foods. Eat a bunch of empty calories and your body will still be hungry because of the lack of nutrients.
2. Will you eventually lose weight through limiting “calories in” aka calorie restriction? Yes, but now you are fighting “calories out” by decreasing metabolism depending on how much of a deficit you go on. Calories out depends on a lot of factors and you cannot just change calories in. The body is complex.
Prioritize nutrients and not calories.
I have not heard of anybody that got fat eating whole foods.
Beautiful! I love Sicily. Highly recommend visiting some beaches too.
Cheese is good as long as it is real cheese and not fake cheese.
I was thinking more along the lines of less cheetos and goldfish and more fruits and berries
“those who take vacations and those who travel”
Very cool perspective. Got me wanting less vacations and more traveling. What are your favorite places you have travelled to?
If you want to take the island, burn the boats
Destiny is our friend
Do you have a say in what snacks are handed out? Would be cool if you can get some healthy food in there

Delicious.
America is among the top 5 for countries with the highest childhood obesity rates. 1 in 5 children are obese in America, which is about 14.7 million kids.
One of the main problems I see is that current nutrition is simply an arm of processed food. Big Food has been telling us what is healthy and look where we ended up.
The chart is from the Food Compass by Tufts University where they claim cereal is healthier than meat. Major changes needed.
Climb mountains not so the world can see you, but so you can see the world
During times of change the truth is the most interesting thing
Let’s go bowling
One day, the smallest guy in the gym said, “One day, I’m going to be the biggest one here.”
Everyone laughed… except the biggest one.
Have you been lifting for years? If so, it is pretty normal to lose some interest eventually. I would recommend switching it up and trying a new activity (preferably one you do not like). In like a month you will be missing the gym. At least that is what I did.
If you recently started lifting and are burning out then I would say to switch up your training/structure. Incorporating new lifts is always fun.
The Raw Milk Revolution will be televised (on nostr)
