most insanely cyclical up and down industry on the planet I reckon. We will always need energy though. The oilfield is still high risk high return!

In the vast majority of cases no.

Geological settings are completely variable so not a question that has a simple 100% answer. In general, once a reservoir is depleted, the water level within will rise until there is more water production than oil which makes it uneconomic. I've seen some wells re-entered where the operators had tried to produce really fast and ended up producing water but leaving it years and going back in, production was re-established. This is called coning, where water is drawn up to a shallower level around the well bore. Basically there can be outliers and each case is different.

But you actually mentioned reserves rather than wells and in that case, it's more complex still. I have always maintained there's a lot of "stranded pay" in USA where large fields were produced with vertical wells and with certain reservoir types, I think one could drill horizontal wells between them and tap a lot of reserves that have been left behind.

Hope a good enough answer, it's all very variable to be honest.

So now over 5100 wells looked at in my little orphan wells of Texas deep dive. Made me realise something. If there's anyone out there that has mineral rights and would like someone to do a quick data check to see if anything stands out in terms of potential value, let me know. Happy to do a quick scan through!

Everything on probability for me now. I’d say 90% probable not captured. Still have monetary control centralised and we know how obscure that is in the background. We just see how all this plays out. Main issue for humanity right now is the attack on USA constitution and we already see it’s a controlled tyranny whilst the vaunted second amendment hasn’t stopped that happening. Hopefully individual states keep pushing through more local legislation to fight back. When that comes to a head, anyone’s guess but shit might get real pretty damn quick.

Third one is a cyclist

Not idiocracy. By design. Every time i go to your country, i meet both the dumbest and most intelligent and learned of people. The sad thing is, as important as tge constitution is for humanity, i meet few who realise theres been no democratic representation in decades. I just cant quite pin down when the coup occurred. Probably 1913 with the FED. am curious whos in charge now though. I also think thats what this upheaval is about. A return to constitution and devolving power back to the states. Good luck fren, the world could do with you guys getting this right. Am just not sure voting will be enough

Hmm not liking the insta like bots on #nostr

One day, it may be a #bitcoin booth at a #nostr conference 🤔

Im not american so looking from the outside but to put big poll numbers on reuters without pointing out more registered dems polled than reps is disingenuous (fake news if you prefer). Im just amazed you dont have any coherent candidates. Am long popcorn though!
