Who benefits from this conspiracy?
How can the earth move upwards in all directions at the same time?
I like the analogy.
Wouldnât it be more accurate though to compare what is happening to hitting a hand with an assortment of different things interspersed with some healing and then afterwards trying to say which thing did which damage?
Just to be clear Iâm not trying to take the position that the tariffs are a good thing. But what examples do we have where an economy as big as the US imposed wide ranging tariffs on its trading partners? I just donât think it stands to reason to say âlook, Iran has 12% tariffs, if we have 12% as well our economy will be like theirsâ.
I literally just picked the top and bottom when they were ordered.
My point being, like you say, that there are other factors that have an effect.
Just because some poor countries have high tariffs doesnât mean they are poor because of those tariffs and visa versa.

I would suggest that this is caused by financial incentives but not the ones youâre insinuating. Most likely whoever is in charge of the food is first and foremost a bean counter with only 1 thing in mind, proving meals for the cheapest possible cost. I would bet nutritional content never enters the conversation.
Snap shot of the top and bottom from that list;
0% - Aruba, Afghanistan, Angola, Albania, UAE, Hong Kong, Sudan
23% - Bermuda
20% - Cayman Islands
If it were as simple cause and effect all those countries at 0% should be well off and those at 20+ should not be. But itâs a complex system and there are more factors at play that simply the tariff rate.
Uneducated armchair economist here. It seems to me that one of the issues of economics is it very difficult to show actual cause and effect since itâs such a complicated system and you canât run double blind studies. All that is to say, it seems like everyone is just making their best guess whatever school of thought they subscribe to and just because they agree doesnât mean they are correct.
I think you missed the point I was trying to highlight. Just because something is grown on a farm doesnât mean itâs had less human / scientific intervention than a lettuce grown in hydroponics or a muscle cell cultured in a lab.
What food that we eat is exactly as it was 1000 years ago and has not been altered in any way by deliberate human intervention?
Maybe Fish? (If you ignore that they are full of plastic)
Rice?

Can you run a half-marathon without training?
I tried it:
Donât want to run but win some sats?
You get the chance of winning 1.000.000 sats when signing up to Bitcoin Well while stacking sats directly into your cold storage via:
Ran my 1st and only 1/2 marathon in December. No training. Longest ever run before that was 16km. It was fine, did in 2hrs.
Still looks a bit like itâs about to shit is pants
Minimum word counts are a joke.
My dissertation was supposed to be 15,000 words. I only wrote about 10, there just wasnât anything else to say.
Fortunately what I wrote as good so I still got 80%.
I listened to a podcast a little while ago which talking about the power of red light for healing. Might be worth looking into.
Anecdotally, I also mentioned this to a friend and they told me they have one for their cat!đ
Iâm fairly confident we evolved to sleep for a big block of time while itâs dark, otherwise weâd probably have better night vision.
Just like calories, not all carbon is equal. Methane has a greater greenhouse effect than CO2. Plant matter and oil have zero greenhouse effect (until they are burnt).
Carbon can be stored for extended periods of time (peat, oil, gas, wood) meaning it is not part of the short term gaseous cycle.
What utter BS is this!?

I would not hire this person.
