Dad. Husband. Math teacher. Runner. Amateur writer. Fisherman. Mediocre guitar player and volleyball player. We need a new cultural enlightenment. I want to be a part of it.

I’m not familiar with Ably and don’t have the technical expertise to answer your question about different browsers. It’s an important question though. I’d love to know what you find out. (I’ve been using Brave and the chrome extension.)

Is there a hashtag for asking questions about Nostr for people trying to figure it out? Because there should be. Is it #plebchain ?

Maybe #AskNostr or #NostrNewbs

Wow, that’s pretty awesome.

I’d take an improper fraction over. A mixed number any day.

I think most people recommend using an extension that doesn’t share your private key with the client. The one I use is the nos2x chrome extension.

How is it 2023 and a coffee shop has this kind of wifi speed? I'm the only person in here too.

Just stumbled on this cool activity for teaching volumes with known cross sections from

Excited to try it. https://ispeakmath.org/2022/02/20/discovering-volumes-of-known-cross-sections-using-play-doh/

Thank god we have people solving real problems…

And I think this is fine. Social media probably doesn't have to be purely decentralized to fix a lot of the big problems with it. Controlling your own data and speech and being to take it with you wherever you go on the internet is a massive improvement.

The ability to vote with your feet is also vital. Don't like an algorithm in this client? Switch. Don't like the blocklists on this relay? Switch.

The concern about shared blocklists between major relays is real. But I have to believe that a *demand* for relays that don't participate in the censorship will drive their development. #plebchain #nostr #[0]
