Ok, that makes sense. I don’t have an android phone. But I’m sure this stuff will all get sorted out in the coming months.
I think it’s an awesome tool with a ton of potential!
Glad to hear it’s not just my feed.
Another little bookmarklet hack, this time for nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft 's Highlighter.com
Create a bookmark on your browser with this as the url:
javascript:window.location.href="https://highlighter.com/load?url="+location.href
Now if you click that bookmarklet on almost any site, it'll open it up in Highlighter.com for you to highlight to your hearts desire!
I played around with highlighter this morning for a little bit. Can tell me if I understand it correctly?
When I create a nostr “highlight” it can only be viewed in a client that supports viewing “highlights,” however those are tagged. However, comments on highlights can be viewed in any client because they are a standard note. So, for example, I can view your highlights on Highlighter.com but not in Damus.
Is that right?
The [rumors are true](https://highlighter.com/23687731/pixel-hardware-rumors-7a-foldable-fold-tablet): next week, Google will introduce its first foldable phone, [the Pixel Fold](https://go.redirectingat.com/?xs=1&id=1025X1701640&url=https%3A%2F%2Fstore.google.com%2Fintl%2Fen%2Fideas%2Fpixel-is-open%2F), during the Google I/O 2023 event.
Google hasn’t revealed any specs for the device, but [a brief teaser video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4eEH2nRU1U) shows off a full-size outer display on a phone that opens up similarly to Samsung’s [Galaxy Z Fold devices](https://highlighter.com/23308459/samsung-galaxy-z-fold-4-review-screen-battery-camera-price). The camera bar on the back is similar to other Pixel devices but doesn’t stick out as prominently, reflecting what we’ve seen in leaked marketing materials and [even a hands-on video](https://highlighter.com/2023/4/21/23693598/pixel-fold-irl-video-leak).
[](https://www.cnbc.com/2023/04/18/google-pixel-fold-release-date.html)CNBC reported in April that the Pixel Fold would be a 5.8-inch phone that folds out into a 7.6-inch tablet. It’ll reportedly include a Google Tensor G2 processor, weigh 10 ounces, and have “the most durable hinge on a foldable,” along with a price that’s over $1,700. Samsung’s latest foldable, the Z Fold 4, launched with a price of $1,799.

A [page on the Google Store](https://go.redirectingat.com/?xs=1&id=1025X1701640&url=https%3A%2F%2Fstore.google.com%2Fintl%2Fen%2Fideas%2Fpixel-is-open%2F%3F) allows interested parties to sign up for more info once it’s officially revealed on May 10th.
Does anybody really want a phone like this? Does it solve a problem or is it just new gadget?
This seems like the jump I need to make. Accept that it can't be stopped. Okay, now what do we do?
Did #nostrgram stop working? I can’t access posts prior to April 22. #nostr #plebchain
It’s funny how fast I went from being mesmerized by chatGPT to thinking it kind of sucks compared to GPT4.
Lol. Fair enough. I didn’t realize there was that much to prompt techniques?
Thanks for the list! Its such a general purpose tool that I’m always curious as to how people are using it.
This must be GPT4?
In You Are Not a Gadget, Jaron Lanier writes, “Giving yourself time and space to think and feel is crucial to your existence … You have to find a way to be yourself before you can share yourself.”
Yes, and #plebchain.
Its quirky and there’s a bit of learning curve. But there’s been a ton of improvement over the last couple of months and I think that will continue.
Which client are you using?
How are we feeling about chatgpt, GPT4, etc. Are we using these tools or are we resisting so we don’t feed our AI overloads?
I feel like I change my view from “it’s the beginning of the end of humanity” to “I should be using these every day” pretty much by the hour….
Excellent points. I think the phrase #[4] used was “strong beliefs, weakly held.” In the face of valid counter evidence to your belief, you drop it. You don’t clutch them with a death grip.
Nice to see the sun after about two weeks of grey, rain, and wind.
Yeah, that’s what I’ve been doing. Here’s hoping to a brighter future. 🍻
All good points. I listened to this in the fall I think - I forgot about them getting kind of stuck on the zcash thing.

Ah ok, that makes sense.
I heard this quote but I’m not sure I understand it. I mean, I get what he’s trying to say. I just can’t figure out the causal chain that leads to it. Might have to listen to it again…
