I use it daily... Here some examples...

Analyze my bloodwork and make suggestions of healthy things to eat off the menus of my favorite restaurants.

Convert batch scripts to PowerShell scripts.

Make list of soccer drills for son's practices with details.

Analyze my son's IQ test and suggest carrers that would come naturally to him.

Had it read the Nostream Relay documentation and give me step by step command line instructions for setting it up on Ubuntu.

Had it generate a list of successful QBs in the NFL who had a completion percentage in college below 55%.

Yes. Because accepting the possibility you are wrong does not mean that you do not act on your beliefs as if they are right. I somehow doubt that the suffragettes would have quickly come to the conclusion that their political subjugation was the correct answer merely by virtue of listening to the arguments. Especially because they had listened to arguments that women had no place in politics their entire life, and they didn't seem terribly convinced. Instead, they convinced everyone else.

So I don't really see your conundrum here as being of terrible concern to continued practical exercise of collective truth-seeking.

Yes. Jeff's economics and even just economic theory in general can be conceptual and tough to understand.

As I understand it... the fiat money system prints a bunch of money for cheap and gets it into public circulation via debt to public banks and consumers (mortgages, etc). In the short term it might stimulate growth - but - and this is a crucial point, the growth is fake/artificial. And it leads to inflation. Which causes prices to climb and some deflation to occur.

When...

Prices actually should naturally be falling to marginal costs of production but aren't in a natural way either due to this artificial debt creation or/and governmental control (taxes, laws, tariffs etc).

In a Bitcoin system... and ESPECIALLY with AI and Robotics... costs should fall very quickly to marginal costs (tech gets better and cheaper very fast see: moores law, kurzweil). And so with these falling costs business entrepreneurs will have to adapt and innovate new, better products to be able to generate revenue.

And, on top of this... with Bitcoin always becoming more scarce/valuable... people will be inclined to hold it tightly and make thoughtful decisions to how they buy - prices will need to fall to entice purchasing.

It's a total flip of the system now.

It's not perfect and I'm not sure what Jeff would say are the past indicators it would play out this way. But this is my cursory understanding of the large picture.

This could be a total rewriting of our economic system.

One of my immediate thoughts in response to this is to start setting aside sats for your kids every week. That way they can have a leg up on their peers when they’re adults, you know? Give them the private keys when they move out and hopefully they can have some resemblance of the life you’ve given them thus far. Best of luck, bud 💪

I found this interview rather confusing and you can feel the tension between Peter and Paul. The LayerTwoLabs website links to some good videos though.

I think the 'marketing' of #drivechain is a little bit off. They don't clearly point out that it's all about a standardized way to create and run BTC sidechains. It's totally agnostic of how that sidechain is going to be implemented.

They talk too much about their modified zCash example, so people are mislead to believe it's about altcoins. #drivechain is all about ossification of layer 1 and creating Bitcoin-only scaling and innovation.

If money is created faster than tangible resources, those resources become more scarce because there is more money trying to buy them. That’s my interpretation.
