Dad. Husband. Math teacher. Runner. Amateur writer. Fisherman. Mediocre guitar player and volleyball player. We need a new cultural enlightenment. I want to be a part of it.

Yeah, it has really come a long way. I don’t know which client you’re using, but nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 was barely functional (to a non technical person like me) at the time and nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg didn’t exist at all.

Wow. That is wild. nostr:note1qf9zrhwpthwckfxhuaexpd300znyw66dtapky47tutljxmnhrflqqcf054

Also, in Damus, you can follow hashtags which I have found to be a great way to find new people in your regular feed without searching a bunch of hashtags repeatedly. nostr:note1ec5x0tzn90n6t9kf2ge9m6ehuty0npv7sn9z58ujgk6dame7psjsx6562l

That’s a clever trick - I like it!

On long, hard, runs I used to pick a telephone pole or mailbox and just focus on making it to that thing. Then pick another one. And so on. Instead of thinking about the whole amount I had left. But probably a lot of people use that one.

My brother and I LOVED our N64. I think he still has it. nostr:note1ma9wyemjyy30gz3vl2kklqkr4crxnmxrat4gvjwwm3lt3nln8w0sawmn9u

Lots of good advice in this thread. I’ve been around here for over a year and a half and it pretty much comes down to what people are saying. Follow more people and do some digging. The #grownostr hashtag is great for finding people who aren’t exclusively talking about bitcoin or nostr.

But it seems like a real issue for getting this thing off the ground. Especially for people not really into bitcoin.

Is it possible to add relays in Highlighter? Maybe I’m missing something?

I also used to be able to paste an article link and highlight from within highlighter.com but now I can’t find where to do that. I guess I should use it more to keep up with the updates…

The first of my thoughts on “Bad Therapy: why the kids aren’t growing up” by Abigail Shrier. #grownostr #education nostr:note1ft40z0rslralpy67wpcnudjjupphvrj76rrw3tf9ys7392hn0j3smtd26a

Ope. Forgot to add #coffeechain nostr:note1sf3mhvusew9lrjjevdue4yval9my0a0ue54k4rntq77vnae2xm5slkjn09

Morning, everyone. The school year is fast approaching and I’ve been working on a series of posts about Bad Therapy, by Abigail Shier, and its implications for schools. I’m hoping to get those posts knocked out this morning so the next several days I can prepare for the school year.

I plan to post everything on nostr first using Habla.news.

Have a great day everyone!

Thank God we have the first amendment in the United States nostr:note1ejffrwf87cxl7r3z3m5jcl4020f70yemnvxnkx7lp3npnrl8fr3st0cww6

Congrats and have a great trip!

We really could’ve used Hitch’s cutting insight over the last decade.

It’s notoriously (relatively) bad at math. Which from my perspective as a math teacher is really interesting. At one point, like a year ago, Stephen wolfram was talking about integrating wolfram alpha so it would recognize a math problem, send it to wolfram alpha, then return the result. In the screenshots I saw it even link to the wolfram alpha computations, effectively showing its work. nostr:note1hlsm29lrea8hfqh38aucten3x04lujv4yejuqcl95tcg56p0tv8sxzfdkd
