that third one is probably the strongest argument, and definitely i see your point better now
Yeah I know which one you mean and that’s annoying as hell.
You’re totally right that json contents would (at least at first) net increase client issues. I think that’s not a compelling case for the prohibition of json contents though. Especially if there were a dedicated kind that was associated only with json contents.
I can see a lot of use cases for a json payload (in my head that’s in content). What are the downsides?
Yeah, I remember there was a discussion On What to Do about Spam sometime last week, and the sentiment was that mute was unsustainable.
I’ve been turning that over in my head since then and I think it’s the only option I trust.
It would be cool if the relay or the client could filter out actual spam, but I distrust them to do so responsibly in aggregate. It’s early and (I think) this space is populated with good-faith actors, but I don’t want to cede the filtering responsibility.
Bathroom graffiti in a patchwork of truck stops.
Something I would love in nostr clients:
The ability to mark as seen, either automatically (like IntersectionObserver) or on swipe/click (like in the Apollo Reddit app).
Thoughts? Anyone else?
Honestly, your question really got me thinking.
I think the quality of a lot of common products has drastically fallen. I really gravitate toward the whole r/BuyItForLife concept, but something’s just don’t lend themselves to it and others exist in a market where that concept can’t or doesn’t exist.
What do you see as the direct connection between the the strike and possibly impending recession?
A zap a day keeps the fiat away.

Yeah, John does this thing where he has a story, and if you haven’t already done your own research, you come away thinking you’ve got the full picture.
I’d be curious to see the clickthrough analytics
IMDb is weird
Parts of it look polished, parts of it look like 14 yr old me tinkering with html
How does it work with relays? Like, let’s say 20% of the people you’re swapping in aren’t writing to a relay you’re reading. Just tumbleweed from them?
You might be right about that, but if so, it’s Moloch all the way down.
