Moving my family from US to EU next month, so we’re listing all of our shit on Craigslist. “Bitcoin preferred” on every post.
Gotta add @ before
I think the bigger tap areas/icons for the post actions are a good call, they make engagement more accessible for each post.
But I agree with you, the card backgrounds make the content harder to scan on a timeline. I would use the cards only to display interactive elements within a post (image, links, videos…) and use negative space to create the hierarchy (also don’t think the current separators are needed)
You can already do that https://brb.io/n/note1as2vhpy0p0z6z60qu6wqnuxuan9al0nxrtnc8zlyhcw4exq7wy6qpzht2u
What’s the difference with BRB.io that #[3] shared here? #[6]

Oh wow, yeah! Just need a bit of polish on the UX, like adding a Share button directly in the client and we’re there!
One implicit way to achieve this would be a feature that allows displaying Nostr content outside of Nostr (on websites or social media). Kind of like Twitter allowing embedded posts. Repeated exposures would create awareness and familiarity with the platform, hopefully making it easier to join when the trigger comes. How difficult would this be? #[5]
I think that each cohort will adopt Nostr in their own time, prompted by different triggers/crisis. For Bitcoiners it was Elon’s shenanigans, but for journalists it will be something else. Information ultimately flows through the path of least resistance. Nostr > Centralized Social Media

Unsolicited podcast recco 😀.
I’ve heard a lot about fedimint recently in notes and tweets, I personally want to relisten to this podcast about fedimint. If someone was to combine the social part of nostr with what fedimint is doing with bitcoin it would be powerful and is probably what Elon is thinking of doing on the bird app.
I was thinking exactly the same yesterday when listening to #[6]’s podcast 639 on fedimint. Elon is thinking more of the WeChat approach where a corp is trusted by millions. It might work for western societies that have lost trust in their local communities. But in order to reach the billions, I agree the solution needs to be hyper-localized. After a week spent on Nostr, I could imagine the custodians being trusted with more than just the keys to the money…
Thanks for sharing!
I haven’t been using it much since joining Nostr last week, but it seems they are coming harder at me too
It makes scrolling Twitter feel like watching MSM on TV
Interesting! I haven’t seen any post linking feature yet, do you just copy/paste the content?
I’d rather send 10k sats to a pleb for NIP-05, than $11/mo to Elon for his blue shitcoin checkmark. Thanks #[0]
That sounds brilliant. Would it be possible for Key A to remove the delegation to Key B at anytime? This could mitigate all risks in the event Key B gets compromised without having to wait for the delegation time frame to expire.
Yeah that’s my biggest concern, you have to hope the client doesn’t leak it
