I just posted my very first nostr based web article using hasta.news

The best part is that because it posted to my personal nostr relay, I'll have it forever. Even the images because they are served from my own server.

At least as long as I don't lose my relay backups.

I'm in southern Missouri and the ticks and chiggers are everywhere on my property.

So far everyone here has given good advice. I hear that planting lemongrass and mint deters them.

Possums apparently kill thousands of them during their grooming process.

What I've been doing is wearing the least amount of clothing as possible so I can easily wipe them off if I feel them on me.

Get into the habit of regular wipe downs and spot checks.

A good bug spray helps a lot. I bought some permethrin. It works great but I don't like to use it because it also kills good insects.

I'd love to eradicate them

To bad his last name isn't Stevia.

The garden bed is coming in nicely.

I originally was mixing mushroom compost with sifted native soil, but that became to much work.

I can get mushroom compost locally for 11,691 sats ($7) per truckload so why not make the whole bed compost.

Dustin is teaching me how to replace the back window in my 98 Dodge Dakota.
