I have the same problem. Every few years I just heavily plant out all the really old stuff and I've learnt to only try a few new things every year.

I have planted my raised bed yesterday evening. Money is a bit tight right now so I was very glad that I was able to plant everything I wanted from seed I had purchased in past years.

I think I might do a show on travel prep when I get back. Not for zombies or even big disasters just common stuff. In this case Shoe Goo to the rescue. My boots went catastrophic sole failure. Shoe goo made em fine for more hiking. 6 dollar product saves the entire point of an expensive vacation.

Just got my old worm bin set up again. Feeding them spent mushroom substrate from a local mushroom farmer that brings all their spent blocks to our farm. It's great worm food!

Solar hot water system hack, if you have a hot water tank as part of the system.

My plumber, who installed our system and has the same himself, suggested we turn off the hot water tank and just let the solar system do its thing when it's sunny. I've tried it over on a few occasions for, sometimes, weeks at a time and we still had a good supply of hot water every day just from the solar collector.

This may be common knowledge already, and I may just be late to the party, but it makes a noticeable difference to our bill.

Try it for a few days and see what happens.

Still on light duty, but I’m getting caught up on some smaller projects around home, like my dash in the pathfinder which has been open and all the switches dangling for like 6 months or better….just slapping in some pieces of kryptek mandrake Kydex with some self tappers so my switches don’t dangle no mo lol

There is a difference in the network effect of Bitcoin and Nostr.

With Bitcoin, nearly everyone is in the accumulation phase and would prefer the price to stay low so we can buy more, even while we hope it moves toward world domination.

With Nostr, we mostly all recognize the power of the network effect and expect to experience significant benefits as it grows, and the sooner the better.
