Y'all it's very normal to feel down this time of year. On a purely biological level these cold days and long nights are a time for hibernation, yet we're wondering why we aren't more productive.

Even folks with family can feel pointedly alone this time of year, as sometimes loneliness can be highlighted by a crowd who doesn't understand you. Those of us without that crowd can take solace in knowing at least we are best positioned to understand our own company, ourselves.

If nothing else, just keep going out of spite. I'm going to at least spit in the eye of fate, if fate is going to dish out depression to me. I don't think that's a great mindset generally but hey sometimes it's what gets us by 🤣 Don't let the bastards get you down! Eat some cookies.

I am starting with this new for me song that's been on repeat in the last weeks.

Nostr keeps getting better every day.

Just hit my target weight.

Lost over 90 lbs in less than a year.

How did I do this? The pathway is so obvious it’s almost cliche:

-Adopted a high protein diet- mostly chicken breast and protein shakes

-Ate the chicken for breakfast or lunch. Liquid only for dinner

-Walked 10,000 - 15,000 steps daily

-Cut out sugar, breads, cheese, and processed foods

-Lifted heavy weights

-Embraced thinking about Bitcoin 24/7. Boredom and stress eliminated immediately. Well, except stressing over the fact I don’t have enough Bitcoin

-Improved sleep hygiene

-Touched grass

-Wearing blue blocker shades at night

-Listened to #40HPW of Bitcoin podcasts, then amped it up to 50HPW

Friendly reminder that you’re currently dying and this moment is the youngest you’ll ever be and your inevitable death is rapidly approaching and you’re likely stuck in a midlife delusion where you think what you’re doing is important and integral and it’s likely something that you’ll look back on at the end of your life and feel was ultimately pointless and wasted time and you’ll want it back and wish you weren’t so delusional in your 20’s, 30’s and 40’s because now that you’re old the pain of regret is crushing you like a boulder on your chest and you find yourself unable to move from under it. Omg you wasted all your time and there’s no going backwards. The delusion is gone, all you can do is sit in the regret. Why didn’t you say what you really thought? Why didn’t you do what you wanted to do? Whose life were you living? Why did you let them convince you to live it? How could you have been so misguided and delusional? How could you have been such a coward? but then you realize you’re on nostr and you’re still youngish and there’s still time and you just suddenly WAKE UP.

I see your point. I also believe that eventually is all about if there's coercion or not.

But authority is different, it's a tool to prevent thinking.
