Tell the darknet markets that. Bitcoin had first mover advantage AND network effect. Didn't matter. Monero still took over on the only truly free markets that exist and only place where permissionless transactions are possible.
"absolute scarcity" doesn't automatically mean anything. Value is a function of supply AND DEMAND. Bitcoiner *should* know by now that value is subjective and the market is constantly reevaluating. Value is not fixed just because scarcity is.

Forgot to talk about Borderlands 3. The story's ending is extremely anticlimactic and quite awkward. That's fine because the gameplay itself isn't bad. I'm not exactly itching to get back to it and play through the other vault hunters quite yet. I still have several side quests to complete before I get to that. Which I suppose is a thing I'll try to do off and on. I've actually never been huge into the Borderlands games. They're very good and enjoyable, just not my exact fix. Unfortunately I think Borderlands 2 will still be the best regardless of quality of life improvements in the 3rd game but only time in the end game will tell.
