#[0] #[1] , it would be great if you can enable sharing the Nostr notes by link to it. Not sure how it can be done though, but if done it can create more awareness and vitality as we start sharing notes on Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.

This question keeps coming up from many newbies on Twitter and elsewhere. Why can't Bitcoin be replicated by copying code and implementing same scarcity. My response is usually that new coin won't be able to replicate the following -

1. Perfect anonymity and disappearance of the creator sending it on a journey to become leaderless and truly decentralized

2. Energy required to change historical transactions in Blockchain has become enormous and so it's truly immutable

3. Network effects and participation

I had conversation with ChatGPT to teach it about Nostr. Here is what it learnt

#[0] , awesome job on Amethyst. Reporting a bug here. When I go my followers and try to follow people here is what happens.

Click on follow, it follows and shows "unfollow" against that user.

Then click on follow against second user, it follows but it unfollows the first user.

Follow button in follower list seems buggy.

To be scalable I would recommend either icons in horizontal line scrollable. Just number of likes, and when user clicks on the likes number show them vertical list of icons and names

Someone was commenting on Coinbase's decision of building on ETH - they decided to not do that on Lightening because Lightening gets way less users than many ETH L2s. How would you respond to that?

My response was - Most ETH L2s are centralized and so they can't be compared with Lightening which is P2P non centralized L2. Centralized layer will always be more user friendly and will have more users. And so ETH L2 active users shall be compared with apps like @Strike that is centralized and runs on Lightening.

I'm addition to this ETH itself is centralized with core protocol changes pushed by a centralized organization.

Hence, this is comparison of apples and oranges.

I think zapping is like payments that doesn't hurt and feels like free. When SATs get more expensive then we can go into decimals to make sure that minimum zaps allowed are still close to nothing and feels like free.

Lightening integration is so user friendly for posts. Hope we do the same for relays, so that people can pay relay runners as well.
