what would prevent users from being able to see images in clients or why they wont load? i see a box blurry color in it but image wont load. ive seen this on other people's post as well as this one. im using client Amethyst.

I was pondering today on the significance of separating personal attacks from the context of a discussion. We say it all the time - don’t discriminate someone based on their race, gender etc.

And I was thinking what if Elon joins Nostr - would we welcome him with open arms ? Yes we may disagree on some things and dislike how he carries out other things and that’s ok. But it doesn’t justify ad hominem attacks nor cancelling every opinion and value he brings to the table, just because.

Nostr is unique in that it provides a space for everything, however it's matched with opportunity to be pitted against the truth (& without censorship)

I was really looking forward to speaking at and attending the Miami Bitcoin conference. I had a lot of great events lined up, but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to attend anymore.

I was excited to announce ack.vc and start telling folks what #[0]​ and I are up to with ACK Capital (accepting LPs who are interested in getting exposure to early stage bitcoin, Nostr & p2p web/bitcoin adjacent startups.)

However, my mother-in-law was just diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia out of nowhere and she is starting chemotherapy tomorrow.

Everyone’s holding up good so far, but my heart is telling me to stay home.

So I’m going to have to forego the event and make sure I’m there to support my wife & daughter though this emotional time.

If anyone has any suggestions of podcasts or books I can go through to help my wife and daughter process the roller coaster of blood cancer, I’d appreciate some resources that helped you.
