Start9 on a start9 purchased device. If you have a rasberry pi it doesn’t surprise me if lightning doesn’t work well(especially as you add and actively run more and more apps). Would strongly recommend using at least an Intel NUC style device with an SSD, and I think buying an actual start9 device is also a great way to support the project.

My pleb understanding is that you can have both. It’s just a matter of time, focus, and resources. Taproot assets is just an enormous amount of work and lightning devs don’t grow on trees.

Hmm weird. I’ve never tried with RTL so I cannot speak to that. I’ve only used the CLN app itself, which to be fair is fairly basic. The default CLN app has never had a hiccup though beyond one freeze, though I think that was a hardware issue.

Have you tried on Start9 or Umbrel? Besides one freeze scaring me since CLN uses the hsm secret rather than a typical seed phrase(which imo wasn’t a real issue since it just needed a restart and was never truly in danger), I’ve never had an issue with CLN.

They are focused on using Taproot to bring stablecoins and other assets to lightning rather than things that are imo much more important like Bolt12

GM! There is something emotionally magical about using your own lightning mode to buy something from another nostrich. Decentralization is increasing one humble step at a time.

Oh and Core Lightning forever. LND can take their shitcoins and shove it.

Sorry, yeah seems to have been temporary.

Attention shitcoiners: this weeks biggest ever tech outage is a perfect lesson in why #bitcoin doesn’t have automatic updates

To get that deal try different operating systems, browsers, and browsing modes. I’ve heard iOS with safari in private mode most consistently unlocks that $25 price for whatever reason. If you have a vpn also try different locations.

What is the best bitcoin payment processor to accept large payments in?

Setting up a contractor so can’t deal with the crappy nostr:npub1cashappn03s3cl2ljsdntv0v28e2um5lgx4vjctqjt23pcwzjhsqmtdg5l limits and stuff. I’m looking for one that can both keep the BTC and convert to fiat.

Name all the best options you know of (US based)

Opennode and strike business

This about the time when those who can stay humble will separate themselves from those who cannot. ngl I could end up in either bucket, tbd

I love Bitcoin and it’s my saving tool of choice. However this giant tech outage is a good reminder to have a little cash on hand for emergencies.
