LMAO, no.
In a restaurant, the front of the house is the part that has the interaction with the customers, the back of the house is where everything happens but has very little interaction with the customer.
So, think of an app/program as a restaurant and you’ll understand why your comment is hilariously ignorant.
Not confused about anything.
The democrats screwed this country up so bad with their liberal agenda, especially in regards to the queer community, that people would do whatever they had to to put a Republican back in the white house, regardless of the fact that he’s a convicted felon, fraudster and insurrectionist.
Did I miss anything?
It’s nice to see I am not the only one here who can think critically. nostr:note1up7rppc3y4mzlxknh7fwg78ren3crc6nq0v6zr9fsjjm27r9klxs4eeg0h
What about requiring biometrics before you’re able to send a message, wouldn’t that guarantee that an actual person is on the other end?
Keep in mind I have only a basic understanding of how this all works, so I apologize if that sounded stupid AF.
Strange that no one answered this. They do offer multisig support. Your device has a key, your wallet has a key and another encrypted key on their website. 2 of 3 are needed to perform a transaction.
Today, we are launching Rootstock Chain Swaps, completing the fundamentals of our nostr:npub1yhu7mqkkcfhxl5z8692py2d0hlkyvkdpls2tjvg92m9ugna0uymqs32vjw integration 🫡
In addition to #Lightning, users can now swap the following pairs in an easy, non-custodial manner:
RBTC <> BTC
RBTC <> L-BTC
This dramatically lowers the entry barrier to the Rootstock ecosystem and we are already excited what other use cases will be built with the primitive 🔥
For some ideas read our initial launch blog post: https://blog.boltz.exchange/i/151325039/what-can-i-do-with-rootstock-swaps

You guys are killing it, keep it up. 🤘🏼
Considering Trump will be pardoning himself, I don’t think there is much room to talk…
LMAO, yes
I sympathized with you after the first paragraph, scratched my head after the second and had a WTF moment by the end of the third.
I am in 100% agreement with about 90% of what you said. Yes, you should learn the native language of your new home, it’s the respectful thing to do.
However, I would never ask someone to completely detach themselves from their own culture because I don’t understand it.
I’m a bit fuzzy about that as well. Does it report the user to your relays, his/her relays, both, all?
How does it display the information on the other end, what is the incentive to take action?
I know there is an app to store it in, but that’s just trading one attack vector for another.
I wonder if there is a way to make your nsec only visible client side, so there is no way to extract it from the client itself.
Sort of how you can use a cloud storage app that has client side encryption so that the server maintainers don’t have access to your info.
Right now, my biggest worry, especially with most of the clients being open source, is that someone will figure out a way to gain access to a user’s nsec.
How does this protect our actual nsec?

This proposal brings subordinate keys (nsub) and revocable delegation proofs to Nostr, delivering enhanced security and scalability for key management. 🌐check out the article, written by nostr:npub1gkgyk28lurjuhyfjlxsga9mw6lc0c47c8pmcr65usre9d3qjcx6q9cyk5m nostr:naddr1qqnyuj2s95unjwfe94c8yefdv9k8q6rp94nx7u3dvejk2erzv93kkttgd3cnqef4qgsytyzt9rl7pewtjye0ngywjahd0u8u2lvrsaupa2wgpujkcsfvrdqrqsqqqa280j9mqg
This sounds cool but I would prefer we have a way to secure our actual nsec address before doing this.
That seems like an awful lot of work and knowledge that you would need, and the reality of it is most kids that this new law would apply to, won’t have that knowledge.
Plus, this seems aimed at the algorithm driven social platforms that can feed off of impressionable minds. Nostr is a whole different animal.
Am I the only person who hates the song, Rudolph the red nose reindeer?
Think about it, what lesson is it teaching? It’s teaching you that it’s ok to ostracize and make fun of someone for being different until you need them for something, then they are acceptable. What say you?
#christmas #asknostr #wtf
I suppose it depends on how far they intend to go. You may just have to answer a simple question without having to prove it or you may need to send photos of yourself and ID, the same way you do when using a KYC wallet.
The client they are using to access the Nostr protocol?
Yep.
I won’t lie and say that I wouldn’t use the tech if it was available, I am just glad it wasn’t.
Hell no, certainly not after becoming a simp to Trump.
