node software you are running, most likely bitcoin core, is open sourced software so if you arent technically savvy you are trusting that others that are have reviewed the software and that they have not found any reasons to believe its compromised.

trying out solo mining xmr using the monero gui wallet. anyone else do this? anytime i open the wallet it says miming temporarily suspended but then eventually shows mining stats. how do i not have it stop when the wallet is locked?
if you using lightning to receive, instant and as small as it gets. caveat you gotta setup your bolt12 offer to receive and so far that means running a core lightning node. but that may change soon if lnd supposidly pushes bolt12 by early 2025. so you could mine ocean, have the sats built up there for a few months then use bolt12 receiving to drain the sats once ready.
i was wondering why their network hashrate doubled this month, must be all the bitaxes 😅
