Same for years. Never understood how it is more productive to write something in a software you have to launch, record the note, put a color for the priority level, open the software 10 times/day to see what to do next, remove it when done, etc. Vs doing thing directly or writing a quick note on paper and cross it when done.
Something that really help me was to replace some non-vital things like :
- time on the phone, socials, emails, TV Show, movies ...
by activities that improve focus and peace of mind, like :
- walking, grounding, journaling, writing ideas on paper, meditating, breathing techniques, going out with friends to talk ...
Basically less screen time and more IRL & healthy stuff. Always get me back on track.
People shouldn't be triggered by something they never had a word about it. Borders were designed by politicians decades ago for their own profits. Why should I be triggered if someone say my place is shit ? Cool story bro, look under your feet, different flavor but same shithole.

I stand and sit. I’m not at the level of standing only yet.
Plus it's prolly not good to stand up all day neither. Alternate between both every 60-90 min seems to be the most effective. Plus some little breaks here and there to walk a little (go to pee, to make a coffee/tea, go to the mailbox, get out some trash, etc.)
For hat I know Japanese businesses are usually very procedural. Always a lot of talking, a lot of papers to fill, fax to use, lots of informal reunions even after work (nomikai), etc.
