I like Iris and satellite.earth for different reasons. Iris is the closest to model the traditional, but itβs a little slow, but satellite.earth is great design and has a breakout for reading threads which is really smooth.
Damus is the most popular on iOS and Amethyst on Android, but new ones are popping up almost daily. Nostur, Plebster are also mobile clients. Iris, satellite.earth, snort, are good desktop clients. I use about 6 right now to test and learn, but go at your own pace.
