Gives me hope. I had 17 mostly good, interesting years with my OTTB and still miss the old rascal. I keep thinking about riding again but the expense and my standards of what I want to do, along with how development around here has eaten up open land for riding- convinces me to postpone it.

There are tragically REAMS of such similar events happening that we seldom hear about. I heard them since a (psycho enough to like her job) family member worked in “real estate acquisition” for the DOT. Sounds like the similar stories that got Alex Jones’ career started. I don’t think for a minute that all these events are accidents. In their eyes, it’s just an accident when it gets out into the news.

Do you think that the crash will apply to the type of land that many TSP listeners are pursuing as a way to escape the mainstream, like raw rural land?

I’ve written it both ways. It depends on how your ability can meet your intent. Sometimes a tune pops into my head, sometimes a phrase or two gets it started.

I was just brainstorming with some fellow TSP listeners about the possibility of having an Above phone but expanded to be like a command center for everything to automate a homestead, “Ring” like camera/audio for security monitoring, automated feeders, electrical/water monitoring, remote activation of solar powered gates, etc - but not tied into anything centralized that could tap your data. Also, once something like that is established, it could be continuously updatable without having to buy a complete new device every few years like we have to now since you can only update so many times with old stuff and risk someone butting into your privacy every time.

And yet there are herds of such weirdos (many are outright liars) in the art world. At least she probably wasn’t lying and it helped kill her. I used to work for a vegetarian restaurant/caterer. I saw all manner of such kooks. Vegetarians, fruit-itarians, vegan macrobiotic fanatics, raw food fanatics, air-itarians (really, they tell you that they live only on the nutrients they breathe in and dumbasses believe them! And no one questioned why such a person is in a restaurant?)The more extreme their food fetish was, the sneakier they were about cheating when they’d wander into the kitchen. I never saw so many weak sickly people in one place in my life as when I worked there.

AFAIC, all of these food fetishes are a mental illness. Guys, keep that in mind when you dig the idea of banging the hot vegan chick.

I would bet money that there are numerous people in the Veg scene who are writing this off by saying that she just didn’t do it right. Same argument as with socialists- and that’s a big demographic overlap anyway.
