A school guidance counselor used the school system to come to my house because a student yelled to her "you're built like a pear" after school. She thought it was my daughter, it was not. 1) she wouldn't do that 2) she has been home since the bus dropped her off 3) this seems like a violation of privacy, using the school system to look up our address.

The woman also asked my wife if we knew of any other Ross's (the girl was wearing a Ross shirt) and asked for their addresses. She then said if you don't tell me the address, I'll just go back to school and look it up on the system.

You dumbass. My camera recorded all of that.

Do I say say meh, and just go about my day? Do I contact the school with the evidence of what she said?

It is a gross violation of privacy and overstepping boundaries.

Who here has set their mempool max size larger than the default (300MB)? Why?

Are mining pool nodes known for running way above the default? Any reliable sources on that?

I had a 1sat/vbyte transaction that was purged from my mempool over 2 weeks ago. Is it safe to assume it was purged everywhere else? If you were me would you bother broadcasting a high fee transaction with the same input to sweep it back?

Even if the transaction has been forgotten by most nodes and doesn't appear anymore on blockexplorers, it is still a valid transaction and might have stayed in the mempool of a node somewhere. So it's better to use one of the inputs in another transaction to invalidate the original, "stuck" transaction otherwise you risk it to be re-broadcast and be confirmed when you already forgot about it.

Got bigger issue to worry about with North Korea, China, Russia. Japan benefits significantly from US in that aspect but I’m return has to comply with everything else. That’s the deal.

Japan is a colony of USA, any country that has a foreign military bases on their land is NOT sovereign. Truth always hurts isn’t it!

Bigger issue is USA and not North Korea, China or Russia. Those countries do not have military bases all over the word unlike USA.
