I didnt say that, I said that it's gonna be the same basically cause if you can save money that way employers will start paying you less.
It's not really a win or loss for consumers, but it's a big win for big businesses

That's crazy, you could give them to me instead π€£
What does that mean?
I spent my labor day quitting my job and going on a long drive by myself, how about you all?
The new job that I got was horrible, they didn't know what they were doing a lot of the time and people were blaming me for stuff I didn't do cause I was new, they wanted me to operate multiple lines on different areas I had never been on, while also working on other stuff all at once and when I was doing it got yelled at in less than a week despite doing my best, and everything was wrong.
I left there mid shift I couldn't deal with it, it's ok I have a plan now what I think I will do and I'm living with some family while I figure it out.
I appreciate all the love and asking how things are going, I'll figure it out ok.
This face is NOT human.
The people who say "Everyone is Beautiful" are wrong, Maybe on the inside but certainly not on the outside.
Taylor Swift is a Psyop.
And their new os sucks, I sold my iPhone and bought a pixel.
Yes, I am all for giving a tip when I feel someone deserves it, but any time one is requested I'm like nope!
I bought a bottle of water at a festival, it was already like $3, I grabbed it out of a cooler myself and the machine asked for a tip.
I Love ICE!
Then what you have is a situation where the company you work for pays you basically nothing, Customers are guilted into tipping more, the business keeps all the money, the people tipping you keep less of their money because they feel pressured to tip high.
One problem with the No Tax on Tips is it sounds good but will likely benefit companies more than individuals.
In the US tip culture is ridiculous, DoorDash drivers for example make much more from people tipping them then DoorDash themselves pay, and DoorDash uses this to pay less.
When you take tax off tips it sounds nice, "Everyone is going to be able to keep more of their money"
Wrong.
Companies will cut costs anywhere they can, if you not taxed on tips, you keep more money.
But if you are keeping more of your money, guess what, They are going to pay YOU even less because they can!
Now they have customers paying your salary while the fat cats retain more of the profits.
It's yet another strategic move by Trump to make his billionaire friends happy.
Yeah, or same with a lot of tip based jobs, like hair stylists, food delivery, Uber, ect.
Technically, if Bitcoin isn't real currency, then if I get paid in Bitcoin and it is never fiat, why am I paying taxes for that?
I'm sure they did that on purpose, doesn't help Waiters/Waitresses that make most their money on tips.
It's up to 25,000usd so if you make less than that, technically yes.
Hi, I am just curious what your home address is and what your annual income was last year?
No specific reason just curious.
I've never understood Lightning Goats, why are people paying to feed someone else's farm animals?
Just call it Nostr App
Imagine not only being so incredibly retarded that you invest in shitcoins, but instead take an IOU for someone else's shitcoins. π
